The processor (1) comprises a housing (2) having a plurality of inlet apertures (6) connected by delivery chutes (8) to a compactor (10) for compacting waste material (24) passing down the chute (8). The processor (1) is provided with removable containers (4) for collection of processed waste material (34). In use of the processor (1) a plurality of different types of waste (24) may be introduced into respective inlet apertures (6), compacted, and then collected in respective containers (4) which may be periodically emptied or disposed of.</p>
