Unit for feeding fuel from a storage tank to an internal combustion engine with a feed pump driven by an electric drive motor, which pump is accommodated together with the drive motor in a common housing (15). In this the housing (15) is closed by means of a connection cover (17) having a connection socket (7) for a feedline (9), in which cover two plug and socket connections connected to the drive motor are also arranged. According to the invention the said plug and socket connections are at the same time designed as flat plugs with a circular plug receiver (21) in which a flat plug (25) projecting axially from the outer end face of the connection cover (17) has a circular plug receiver on its end extending into the connection cover (17), the combined flat plug with circular plug receiver (21) being formed from a one-piece sheet metal part. At the same time the said combined plug and socket connection facilitates both a direct electrical connection of the feed unit and plugging-in of an additional electrical component, preferably an additional interference suppressor unit (39) by means of a circular plug connection.
