Method for the reduction of image artefacts in a tomographic image

A cone-bundle scanning device reduces image artefacts in the case of a cone-bundle geometry, in that an image obtained is decomposed into images of soft tissue and bones and air on the basis of the density of the pixels in the image. The image for soft tissue is filtered in order to eliminate frequency domain data which correspond to zones with incomplete frequency domain data in the original projection image, in order to eliminate the generated artefacts.
