Connection-terminal testing device, comprising a base, a conductivity test-part, mounted so as to pivot on the base, for testing the conductivity state of a connector to be tested, an abutment part which is secured to the base and comes into contact with a rear end of the connector mounted on the conductivity test-part, while it is arranged in the conductivity-testing position, a compression spring for pressing the conductivity test-part into a ready position, and a coil for holding the conductivity test-part in the conductivity-test position during testing of the connector. In an initial state of the device, no power is fed to the coil. After the connector has been fitted into the conductivity test-part, it is pressed by an operator into the conductivity-testing position. During testing, power is supplied to the coil, in order to retain the conductivity test-part in the conductivity-testing position. After testing, the coil is turned off, so that the conductivity test-part is lifted off the base by the compression spring. <IMAGE>
