PURPOSE:To enhance durability and to extend the life of a roller by using an addition reactive low-temp. vulcanizable silicone rubber composed basically of dimethylpolysiloxane having terminal vinyl groups as the rubber of a fixing roller and specifying the mol.wt. of the rubber. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the metallic pipe 1a of the fixing roller 1 is coated with the addition reactive low-temp. vulcanizable silicone rubber 1b composed basically of dimethylpolysiloxane having terminal vinyl, and the silicone rubber is set to an average mol.wt. of 20,000-200,000, thus permitting the obtained fixing roll to be enhanced in releasability from a toner, extended in life by resisting the offset of the toner, and prevented from deformation and breakdown and the like of the rubber. |
