A process for cleaning or decomposing a stream of gas using a pressure-exchange adsorption installation consisting of at least two cyclically exchangeable adsorbers into which the gas stream is taken for cleaning or decomposition and in which the single or multiple-stage desorption phase is followed and the single or multiple-stage pressure-rise or adsorption phase is preceded by a single or multiple-stage rinsing phase. A permeate flow (7) essentially containing the product gas components from a diaphragm separator unit (M) is used here as the gas for the single or multiple-stage rinsing and/or pressure-rise phase. Part of the gas flow (1a) is taken to the diaphragm separator unit (M). |
