Device for the self-regulated compensation and drive of an up-and-over door comprising two operating arms (5) fixed to a link (10), on which slides a movable yoke (11), to which a pneumatic spring (8) is anchored. The movable yoke is actuated by a cam (14) which positions it according to the rotation of the link about the shaft (7) and therefore as a function of the position of the door. The cam profile (determined by computer-assisted design) makes it possible to obtain optimum compensation in all the positions of the door by a variation of the anchoring point of the pneumatic spring.
