The speed of a fan 1 blowing or sucking air over the condenser 2 or evaporator of a drink dispenser refrigeration system is controlled in response to the temp of the blown or sucked air as measured by a sensor 3 located between the fan and the condenser/evaporator. Alternatively the pressure or temperature of the refrigerant can be used as a measure of the blown air temperature. A time of day dependent temperature control program can be employed. <IMAGE>
