Sealing arrangement for sealing off two machine parts arranged so that they can swivel relative to one another, which are formed by a shaft (1) and a housing (2) enclosing the shaft (1) with a radial clearance, the annular space (3) formed by the clearance being divided by at least two wings (4, 5) into at least two circumferentially adjacent chambers (6, 7), sealed off from one another and reciprocally pressurisable for initiating the swivel movement, the wings (4, 5) being connected relatively rigidly to the shaft (1) and/or the housing (2), extending essentially along the entire axial extent of the chambers (6, 7) and being approximated to the respectively movable machine part except for a seal gap (8), each respectively comprising a seal (9) of elastomer material, which is arranged in the essentially U-shaped groove (10) of the wings (4, 5), opened in the direction of the seal gap (8), peripherally encloses the wings (4, 5) and touches the machine part swivelling relative thereto, forming a seal with a sealing face (11) under elastic preloading. The seal (9) has an essentially S-shaped cross-section and under elastic preloading closely touches the lateral boundary faces (12, 13) of the groove (10) with integrally formed-on spacers (14, 15).
