Through the voice-supported remote operation of an answering machine (AB1, AB2) directly (e.g. in making a remote connection by the MFV dialling process) or indirectly via an MFV transmission device (SEE) (e.g. in making a remote connection by the MFV or IWV dialling process), a caller using the machine remotely need no longer provide a remote control code. This means that the caller does not need to have a list with the remote control codes on him/her or have to know it in addition to a PIN code. Moreover, the operating convenience of the caller is improved especially in the indirect, speech-supported remote operation of the answering machine (AB1, AB2) via the MFV transmission device (SEE). |
