<p>The proposed method of dispensing micro-doses of aqueous solutions of substances onto a carrier involves wetting the end face of the rod-shaped transport element with the aqueous solution of the substance in question, formation on the said face of the required dose of the substance, after which it is transferred and brought into contact with the carrier surface. During the process of forming the dose and its transfer, the temperature of the aqueous solution and that of the end face of the transport element are maintained essentially at the dew point of the surrounding air. The claimed device for dispensing micro-doses onto a carrier comprises a base (1) in the form of a plate on one side of which are attached by one end a plurality of rods (2), the faces (3) of the free ends of which are aligned in a single plane. According to the invention, the device is provided with a means for maintaining the temperature of the end faces (3) of the free ends of the rods (2) essentially at the same level as the dew point of the surrounding air. The invention is intended for use primarily in dispensing doses and introducing micro-doses of aqueous solutions containing biological compounds.</p> |
