The invention relates to a breathing-out valve for protective breathing masks having a valve disc consisting of elastic material. The invention is based on the object of providing a breathing-out valve for protective breathing masks using simple means, such that a low resistance to breathing out is guaranteed with a constantly rising characteristic of the breathing resistance over the litre capacity.
