PURPOSE:To enable normal recording and plate making to be conducted by the same device, by providing a controlling circuit for controlling the sequence of driving signals in a driving circuit. CONSTITUTION:The controlling circuit 8 is so constructed that binary image signals corresponding to a one-line amount of original image are stored into a RAM as data with a one-line amount as a unit, and RAM addressed corresponding to the sequence of reading the data in the RAM are stored into the RAM in the sequence of addresses. Switching between nonreversed images and mirror images, i, e., switching between the normal recording mode and the plate-making mode is achieved in accordance with whether sequential access to a RAM is started from the top of addressed or from the rear end of the addresses. In the plate-making process, image signals supplied to the driving circuit are treated to form mirror images by the controlling circuit 8 provided in the driving circuit system. On the other hand, in recording on an ordinary thermal recording medium, the supplied image signals are treated to form nonreversed images. |
