PURPOSE:To obtain a heat roller fixable toner good especially in fixability and also good in offset resistance by using a toner contg. at least a polyester resin having a specified weight average mol.wt. and m.p., a colorant, and an organometallic compd. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic toner contains at least a colorant, an organometallic compd., and a polyester resin having a weight average mol.wt. Mw and a m.p. satisfying inequalities I and II, and it is partially cross-linked with the organometallic compd. in the toner particles in a cross-linking degree obtainable by measuring a melt index value with a melt index tester. This value of the polyester resin is in the range of 6-20, and lowered to 0.1-5.5 by the cross-linking with the organometallic compd. |
