<p>The production of plasticised polyvinylbutyral films having improved optical properties and reduced yellowing by mixing polyvinylbutyral (PVB) and plasticiser in which an effective amount of an optical brightener has been dissolved or suspended, and optionally further additives and auxiliaries, plastication of the mixture and thermoplastic shaping, preferably by extrusion or calendering, preferably to give flat films having a thickness of from 0.2 to 2 mm, in particular from 0.3 to 0.8 mm. Use of the flat films as interlayer films in the production of multilayer laminated glass sheets (panes, screens), preferably silicate sheets.</p> |
