PURPOSE:To obtain a toner superior in heat fixability by incorporating as a binder a reaction product between an isocyanate compd. and polyester obtained by condensing an etherified bisphenol with phthalic acid and a >=3- valent aromatic carboxylic acid. specified in content. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic charge image developing toner superior in offset resistance and chargeability, and capable of forming a sharp fog-free image, especially, as a heat roller fixing toner can be prepared by incorporating an isocyanate-cross-linked polyester obtained by condensing (component A) the etherified bisphenol prepared by etherifying 1mol of bisphenol with 2-3mols of oxypropylene or oxyethylene, especially, contg. >=50mol% propoxyethylene, with (component B) phthalic acid and (component C) a >=3-valent aromatic carboxylic acid in an amt. of <=30mol% of the total acid component, and reacting a compd. having >=2 -NCO groups with the obtained polyester. |
