PURPOSE:To always obtain stable laser output by providing a reflecting power detector for detecting the reflected light of a workpiece, and controlling the laser output by an error between the value produced by removing the value of the detector from the value of an output power detector and a command value. CONSTITUTION:A part of a laser light output from a laser oscillator 1 is incident through a half mirror 9 to an output power detector 10, and the other is reflected to be emitted to a workpiece W. Part of the reflected light by the workpiece W is incident through the mirror 9 to a reflecting power detector 11, and the output is input through an amplifier 13 as the positive polarity to a comparator 15. The output of the detector 10 is input as negative polarity through an amplifier 12 to the comparator 15, command power value from power setting means 14 is input as positive polarity to the comparator 15, which compares the value produced by subtracting the reflected power value from the detected power value with the command power value and feeds an error signal through an error amplifier 16 to a current controller 8. |
