摘要 PURPOSE:To well perform the temp. regulation of a sensor, by a method wherein an oxygen pump element is heated by the radiation extending over the entire surface of a heating element and an oxygen gas detection element is also heated by the heat generated over the entire surface of the heating element. CONSTITUTION:A sensor S1 is constituted of an oxygen pump element 10, an oxygen concn. cell element 20 and heating elements 30, 40. A gap 50 is formed between the elements 10, 20 and set to the gas diffusion restricting gap unified with a measuring gas chamber. Further, gaps 52, 54 are also provided between the elements 30, 40 and between the elements 10, 20. The gap 50 is formed by a spacer 70 and the gaps 52, 54 are formed by spacers 72, 74. Furthermore, the take-out parts 30a, 30b, 40a, 40b of the elements 30, 40 are covered with cover members 80, 82. The element 10 is heated by the radiation extending over the entire surface of the element 30 and the element 20 is also heated by the heat generated over the entire surface of the element 40. By this method, no temp. irregularity is generated in an electrode and the temp. regulation of the sensor can be well performed.
