The invention relates to a body-side mounting of a spring strut of a motor vehicle with a support member bearing on the body from beneath and bolted to the latter, on which member the piston rod of the spring strut is axially supported with the insertion of rubber-elastic elements. In order to permit automated fitting of the spring strut on the body - where necessary supplemented by other axle parts - , the support member is designed as a rotationally symmetrical sheet metal pot, open on the body side, the pot base of which is fixed on the piston rod with the insertion of the rubber-elastic elements and the upper, flange-like outwardly bent pot edge of which is bolted onto the body, retaining cams being arranged in a circle and uniformly distributed on the sheet metal pot and counter-cams, corresponding to these, on the body, which in their spacial arrangement and dimensions are respectively matched to one another in such a way that the sheet metal pot can, on the one hand, be axially moved towards the body during assembly - radially pressing over the cam and counter-cam in a sprung manner - until its pot edge bears on the body, and on the other hand, after twisting relative to the body, can be moved back axially away from the body for the purpose of dismantling. <IMAGE> |
