PURPOSE:To provide a data transmission system capable of transmitting informa tion on an advancing direction to a blind person in voice and enabling the blind person to walk through a street safely. CONSTITUTION:The data transmission system is installed at a point where safety should be secured, and is constituted of a transmission station which transmits identification data and guidance data on a radio wave of a specific frequency and a portable receiver 1 equipped with a pager function capable of receiving the identification data and the guidance data transmitted from the transmission station, and the portable receiver 1 is equipped with a wire antenna 11 used as an objective sensor 2 and also as an earphone 3, a receiver (reception circuit) 12 which receives the radio wave of a specific frequency, a CPU 13, a monostable multivibrator buzzer 14, an amplifier 15, the earphone 3, a switch 16, and a power unit 17, etc., and the CPU 13 discriminates the receiving state of the radio wave of a specific frequency at prescribed time intervals, and sets data transmitted on the radio wave to a state to be received corresponding to a discrimination result (the application of a power source). |
