PURPOSE:To provide the electronic musical instrument which can grant sound effects, e.g. reverberations by key ranges independently. CONSTITUTION:This electronic musical instrument is equipped with a keyboard device 11, a keying detecting means 20 which detects key operation on the keyboard device 11 and outputs keyboard data, musical sound signal generating means 21 and 13 which generate musical sound signals on the basis of the keyboard data outputted by the keying detecting means 20, an indicating means 30 which divides the keyboard device 11 into plural key areas and indicates how much sound effects are granted by the key areas, an effect adding means 14 which adds the sound effects to different extents by the key areas that the musical sound signals generated by the musical sound generating means 21 and 13 belong to, and sounding means 15, 16, and 17 which generate sounds on the basis of the musical sound signals given the sound effects by the effect adding means 14. |
