CONSTITUTION:In the state of tape reproduction, a reproducing sound signal from a head 2 is supplied to a speaker 7 through a variable resistor 5, etc., for adjusting the volume, and a tape reproducing sound is outputted. The reproducing sound signal is converted into a digital signal by an A/D converter 11 to be supplied to a memory 13 for repeat) reproduction, and a storage content is written while being updated successively. In the state of repeated reproduction, the tape reproduction is made to be in a pause state, and the sound signal by a fixed time is read out from the memory 13 repeatedly, and is converted into an analog signal by a D/A converter 19, and is supplied to the speaker 7 through the variable resistor 5, etc., and a repeated reproduction sound is outputted. A clock CK from a clcok generation circuit 25 is frequency-divided to be supplied to a timing control circuit 15. A clock frequency at the time of writing the memory 13 is fixed, and the same at the time of reading the memory 13 is made controllable by a frequency control circuit 26.
