<p>PURPOSE:To stably unwinding-reproduce while holding tension at a nearly fixed level regardless of a winding diameter of a take-up reel when unwinding- reproducing is performed in a magnetic recording and reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:In a mechanism driving a reel from a capstan motor through a slip clutch, this device is constituted so that a stepless reduction mechanism is arranged between the slip clutch and a reel base, and fixed rotational force from the slip clutch is received by a first rotary body 102 (or 112). A third rotary body 105 (or 115) transmitting the rotational force of the first rotary body 102 to a second rotary body 121 (or 112) is received by a tape tension post 109 (or 119). The force is used for moving the third rotary body 105, and the transmission radius of the first rotary body 102 and the transmission radius of the second rotary body 121 are varied, and a reduction ratio from the first rotary body 102 to the second rotary body 121 is controlled, and the rotational force of the reel base 121 is adjusted so that the take-up tension becomes to be at a fixed level.</p> |
