<p>PURPOSE:To attain low power consumption by transmitting an operation mode setting signal to an operation mode setting switch by a decoder only when inputted serial data are different from the serial data corresponding to the operating mode. CONSTITUTION:When the serial data are inputted to a shift register 4 after an operation mode is set, a comparator 5 compares the content of the shift register 4 with the content of a shift register 6, and only when the inputted serial data are different from the serial data corresponding to the mode operating at present, the comparator 5 transfers the inputted serial data to the shift register 6, and rewrites the content. Also, the comparator 5 transmits a transfer permission signal to a switch 7, and transfers the inputted serial data to the switch 7 at the succeeding stage by each bits as parallel data. At that time, the transfer permission signal is transmitted to the switch 7, and the parallel data inputted to the switch 7 are transferred to a decoder 2 at the succeeding stage. The decoder 2 decodes the data, generates each operation mode setting signal, and switches an operation mode setting switch 3.</p> |
