PURPOSE:To prevent a contradictory operation which causes accompanied by the switching of a screen size by canceling pre-range-finding data which is obtained before the switching operation is executed when the switching operation of a panoramic size mode is executed after pre-range finding is executed. CONSTITUTION:A pre-range finding flag is set for '0' by a sequence controller 10 (A1 denotes a point of time after setting). Then, the state of a SW1 is checked, and when the SW is turned on, the pre-range finding is executed, and also, the pre-range-finding flag is set for '1', and then, it returns to the A1 after the SW1 is turned off. When the SW1 is turned off at the point of A1, the state of a panoramic mode SW is checked, and when the SW is switched, the pre-range-finding flag is unconditionally set for '0'. Next, whether or not a remote control signal is received is checked, and in the case of the signal is received, at first, the pre-range finding flag is checked, and when the flag is set for '1', it is judged that pre-range finding has been already executed, and then, the pre-range finding data stored by the sequence controller 10 is used as an object distance, on the other hand, when the flag is set for '0', range-finding is immediately executed. |
