PURPOSE:To freely and automatically photograph the video of a singer PAN fitting in the pattern of software of 'KARAOKE' as the one adaptive for synthesis and without generating unnaturalness in a synthesized image. CONSTITUTION:A signal photographed by a video camera from an image input terminal 86 is inputted to an image recognition circuit 85, and an image recognition signal 88 is outputted to a 'KARAOKE' controller 1. The signal 88 contains the color information of the dress of an object, and the part sampled erroneously of the color of the dress can be reduced when an object video is sampled from a background by sending it to a background color control circuit 89 in an illuminator 13. While, the photographic signal of the video camera from the terminal 86 arrives at a key processing circuit 84 via the image recognition circuit 85. Simultaneously, a player 10 sends the reproducing signal of a laser disk, etc., to the circuit 84 by a reproduction control information signal 17 from the controller 1 based on a request from a user. The signal inputted to the circuit 84 is synthesized at a designated position by using a synthesized position designation signal 18, and is outputted from an output terminal 87.
