PURPOSE:To obtain the automatic accompaniment device which can give a variation to a musical performance when a player changes chords. CONSTITUTION:The values of registers NGENPTN and PRT to which switching information is inputted as a special accompaniment pattern are decided (step S34) by parts and parts in order from a starting part (step S32) at the time of an automatic musical performance and when the pattern is switched to the special accompaniment pattern, necessary information is outputted to a tone generator TG (steps S35-S37); a pointer PPRT is initially set, a register NGMPRT which indicates the switching to the special accompaniment pattern to a CPU is set to '1' (step S38), and the timing of the special accompaniment pattern is read out of areas SEQPTN, PRT, and 0 of a special pattern memory and set in DRPRT (step S39). The pointer is advanced (step S43) and the process is repeated for all the parts (step S44). According to the setting information, an interruption routine reproduces the special pattern. |
