PURPOSE:To make continuous cuttings possible and to speed up the cuttings by forming an auxiliary side by connecting odd vertexes forming the outlines of plural graphics of odd vertexes. CONSTITUTION:This device is composed of a console type computer 10, a laser cutter 20 cutting metal sheet by using laser beam heat and a numerical controller 30 automatically controlling the operation of the laser cutter 20. In this case, because there are four odd vertexes (a), (b), (c) and (f) in a composite graphic and the one odd vertex (f) of the odd vertexes (a), (b), (c) and (f) is the odd vertex at the inside of the composite graphic, the odd vertexes forming the outline of the composite graphic or two odd vertexes connecting auxiliary sides of the odd vertexes (a), (b) and (c) are selected. Next, by taking a clearance allowance in a preliminarily set an X-axis direction or a Y-axis direction, for instance, from the two selected odd vertexes and connecting the odd vertexes by the shortest distance, auxiliary sides are formed outside the composite graphic. |
