PURPOSE:To provide a manifold insulating frame for an external manifold system high temperature type fuel cell having seal performance of high reliability at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:A gas supplying/ discharging manifold 6 is mounted in a condition fastened through a gas sealing sheet 4 and an insulator 5 on a side surface of a cell stack 3. In this external manifold system high temperature type fuel cell, an end face, where the insulator 5 and the manifold 6 are opposed to each other, is formed into a tilt surface so that a component of fastening force of the manifold 6 acts toward an inner direction of the insulator 5. |
