PURPOSE:To provide a copying machine monitoring system which is economical and in addition, facilitates the specification of a person having taken a copy to satisfy a specified condition. CONSTITUTION:A digital color copying machine 10 is connected to a monitoring camera apparatus 20. When an original is placed on an image reader part 12, its picture signal is digitized, and is sent to a control part 14. In the control part 14, it is discriminated whether or not the original is a copying inhibited original by pattern-matching it with the picture pattern of stocks and bonds including paper money, etc., stored beforehand in a ROM 16. When the original is judged to be the copying inhibited original, a copying inhibition signal is sent from the control part 14 to a printer part 13, and simultaneously, a signal to start the photographing of the user of the digital color copying machine 10 is sent to a video camera control part 23. |
