PURPOSE: To perform precise correction by receiving a field deflecting current and a line deflecting current, which are not corrected, in first and second input terminals of a field distortion correction circuit and supplying a corrected field deflecting current to its output terminal. CONSTITUTION: A synchronism detection circuit 11 receives a synchronization signal sync and impresses a control signal 111 to a picture signal processing circuit 5 and impresses a control signal for synchronization to a deflecting unit 13. The unit 13 impresses a line deflecting current Ik' and a field deflecting current Iv' to a field distortion correction circuit 15. The circuit 15 consists of a bidirectional switch, a transformer, a capacitor, an inductance, etc. When the switch is closed, a resonance voltage/current is added to the current Iv' by the capacitor and the inductance, and as a result, a modulated field deflecting current Iv is obtained. Thus, corrected line and field deflecting currents Ih and Iv are impressed to deflection coils Lh and Lv . |
