<p>PURPOSE:To provide a rotary head cylinder capable of decreasing jitter by a simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:This rotary head cylinder has a rotary cylinder 1 and a stationary cylinder 11. The winding angle from the winding start to the winding end of a magnetic tape 3 is set at an angle including overlap angles theta1, theta2 on both sides of an effective winding angle theta0 at which recording and reproducing are executed by the rotary head 2 of the rotary cylinder 1. A first microprojection 13 and a second microprojection 14 are positioned on the stationary cylinder 11 in such a manner that the overlap angle theta1 on the winding start side of the magnetic tape 3 is larger than the overlap angle theta2 on the winding end side.</p> |
