A straw conveyor device in a combine harvester, comprising an endless conveyor belt (1) for transportation of straw from a cutter apparatus (2) in a direction towards a threshing cylinder (4), whereby an auxiliary conveyor (3) is provided above said belt. At least the entrance end of the auxiliary conveyor (3) is adapted to be placed in several positions along the longitudinal direction of said belt (1), in order to be positioned in a distance from the cutter apparatus (2) which is adapted to the straw length, in order to cause efficient transportation of the straw and prevent it from sliding laterally on the belt. |
