PURPOSE:To provide the tempo detecting device which reduces the deviation between a detected tempo and a tempo that a man actually feels. CONSTITUTION:A sound volume addition part 13 adds sound volume, frame by frame, on the basis of musical performance information on a specific part in musical performance information inputted from a MIDI input part 11. A tempo detection part 14 detects the tempo on the basis of the sound volume obtained by the sound volume addition part 13. A tempo variation part 15 corrects a tempo generated in the tempo detecting device 10 so as to obtain the same tempo as the tempo obtained by the tempo detection part 14. |
