PURPOSE:To more realistically experience a simulated acceleration, which is closer to an actual one, by a human body by wearing a clothing section, that is made of materials reacting to a magnetic force, by an object person and installing a magnetic force generating section which generates a magnetic field in the vicinity of the object person. CONSTITUTION:Running data of a motor cycle, which is being simulated, are transmitted to a control section of the simulator and a control section 4 which controls the magnetic field. A picture, which closely simulates the field of view of a motor cycle driver is displayed on a monitor 7 and the driver 1, who wears a clothing section 2, performs a simulated driving by looking at the field of view. When the driver, who wears the section 2, accelerates, a magnetic force generating section 5, which is installed in the back of a driving section 6, generates a magnetic force and pulls the driver 1 who wears the section 2 to a backward direction and the driver 1 experiences a simulated acceleration and as a result, he feels an acceleration cue which is similar to the actual one. Similarly, when it is decelerated, the section 5, which is installed in the front of the section 6, generates a magnetic force, the driver 1, who wears the section 2, is pulled forward and he experiences a motion which is similar to the motion experienced on a real motor cycle. |
