PURPOSE:To prepare a document for a correction operation with a simple operation by adding the prescribed number of blank lines between the respective lines of the document corresponding to the format of the document of an output object and outputting the document. CONSTITUTION:A preservation times storage area for storing the number of times of the preservation of document data is added. That is, the operation for writing '0' to an address one before a memory character pointer for instance is performed to the leading address of a work memory prepared at the time of initially inputting the document. At the time of initially preserving the inputted document data, the preservation times storage area for storing the number of times of the preservation and a line feed code not inputted by a user from a keyboard 2 are automatically inserted into an appropriate part. Then, when the preservation is performed corresponding to a procedure by which a corresponding program is loaded from an external storage device 8 to a main memory 7 and operation is to be added again so as to correct the preserved data, display by every other line is automatically performed and the correction operation can be performed without directly changing the initially inputted document. |
