PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device executing optimum image processing suitable for a developing characteristic even with respect to the image cartridge of a main body which is not suitable for data for processing an image and forming an excellent image. CONSTITUTION:By a CPU 1 in a device main body part 100, the data for smoothing processing is read out from a ROM 21 in the image cartridge 200 and outputted to a smoothing circuit 5. By the smoothing circuit 5, the prescribed smoothing processing is executed based on the outputted data for smoothing processing and image data whose smoothing processing is executed is outputted to a printer engine forming the image through an input and output control circuit 7 and a printer engine interface circuit 10. |
