PURPOSE:To improve the convenience for a better and to mitigate the crowdedness of a betting window by having a function transmitting betting data by radio and receiving the betting result confirmation data for this betting data by radio. CONSTITUTION:When a bettor transmits betting data by radio by a betting terminal 1-3 carried within a service area K-2, the transmitted betting data are received by a base station 2-2 and are transmitted to a host computer 4 from the base station 2-2 via a controller 3. In the host computer 4, betting result confirmation data are issued if a question does not exist in the transmitted betting data, and at the same time, betting data are summed up. If the question exists in the betting data, a message to the effect is issued. The betting result confirmation data or messages issued from the host computer 4 are transmitted to the base station 2-2 from the controller 3, it is transmitted from the base station 2-2 by radio and it is received by a betting terminal 1-3 that the bettor carries. |
