PURPOSE:To improve a wiping characteristic and to improve workability at the time of exchange by providing the cleaning material with a fiber sheet surface mainly composed of heat resistant fibers which do not melt and thermally tacky adhesive fibers which soften or melt. CONSTITUTION:This cleaning material has the fiber sheet 1 surface mainly composed of the heat resistant fibers which do not melt and the thermally tacky adhesive fibers which soften or melt. The heat resistant fibers do not melt at the surface temp. of a fixing roll 6 and are, therefor, excellent in form stability when the fiber sheet 1 surface comes into contact with the fixing roll 6. The fiber sheet is mixed with the thermally tacky adhesive fibers which soften or melt on the high-temp. surface of the fixing roll 6 in addition to these heat resistant fibers and, therefore, the thermally tacky adhesive fiber soften or melt and the adhesion property to the fixing roll 6 improves. In addition, the wiping characteristic is improved by the tackiness power of the thermally tacky adhesive fibers. The wiping characteristic is excellent if the thermally tacky adhesive fibers are included in the fiber sheet 1 at >=5wt.%. The ratio of the thermally tacky adhesive fibers is adequate and the form stability of the fiber sheet 1 is not impaired if the content thereof is <=60wt.%. |
