<p>PURPOSE:To provide a window system which can set the window division on a display screen with high operability. CONSTITUTION:A window system consists of a setting means 11 which shows a dividing box on a display screen and also sets the vertical/horizontal shift areas of the box, a 1st deciding means 14 which decides whether an instruction is received to designate the dividing box, a 2nd deciding means 15 which decides whether a shift instruction is received for the dividing box when the designation instruction is decided by the means 14, a 1st detecting means 16 which detects the screen position set after the shift of the dividing box when the shift instruction is decided by the means 15, and a division control means 13 which divides vertically the screen on the basis of the screen position when a vertical shift area is detected as the screen position, divides horizontally the screen on the basis of the screen position when a horizontal shift area is detected, and then divides vertically and horizontally the screen on the basis of the screen position when a screen area is decided other than the vertical and horizontal shift areas.</p> |
