METHOD FOR OSCILLOMETRIC BLOOD PRESSURE DETERMINATION EMPLOYING CURVE FITTING

A method for determining the blood pressure of a subject from a plurality of oscillometric data values is disclosed. The method comprises computationally fitting a curve to the plurality of data values such that the curve approximates an oscillometric envelope based upon the data values. A systolic pressure and a diastolic pressure is then computed based upon the curve.
