The emulsion is in the form of a solid which can be reconstituted with water for use, for example in screenprinting. The emulsion can be in the form of flakes, granules or a powder. It is formed by drying and sub-dividing a precursor emulsion, for example by spray drying or by use of a rotary or climbing-film evaporator. The dried product can be sub-divided by cryogenic grinding. Alternatively the precursor emulsion is coated onto a substrate, dried, stripped from the substrate and sub-divided, for example into flakes. |
