A foldable packaging container (1) made of cardboard, in particular corrugated cardboard, has an inner and an outer part (2, 3) which consist each of two longitudinal side walls (4, 5, 6, 7) and two front side walls (8, 9, 10, 11) that are alternatingly joined to each other in a row. Bottom and/or if required cover flaps (16, 17, 19, 20) are arranged at the longitudinal edges (15, 18) of the longitudinal side walls (4, 5, 6, 7) and/or face walls (8, 9, 10, 11). The inner and outer parts of the container have the same cross-sectional shape and overlap each other. At least at one longitudinal side wall (4, 5) and/or face wall (8, 9), in an area (28) that overlaps with the inner part (3) of the container, the outer part (2) of the container has a wall part (33) that is delimited by a continuous separating line (25), preferably formed by a weakened area, and that is form-fittingly and/or nonpositively linked to the inner part (3) of the container by a linking device (29). |
