PURPOSE:To store font patterns without waste by providing a blank character identification means for identifying blank fonts excluding completely printing dots out of a pit pattern character group and erasing the data for the blank fonts. CONSTITUTION:In the case of printing character codes 222Fh first, the character codes 222Fh are blank characters and included in a blank character table. The number of blank characters is 0322h and forms BNO-0322, and all those starting from S104 through 110 are looped by 322h number of times unless the decision of S106 or S107 is (truth). On the other hand, as the 222Fh is registered in the second of blank characters of the blank character table, the second loop S106 is truth, and 00h of 288 bites is developed in a print buffer in S114. Thus the printing data can be developed on the print buffer without storing a large volume of blank character data therein. |
