<p>PURPOSE:To improve the precision in reproducing the fitness value at regeneration. CONSTITUTION:A particulate filter 7 and an electric heater 8 are installed in the exhaust pipe 3 of a diesel engine 1, and a mass air flow meter 5 is installed in an intake pipe 2, and the differential pressure between the front and rear parts of the particulate filter 7 is detected by a front pressure sensor 9 and a rear pressure sensor 10. The intake pipe 2 and the exhaust pipe 3 are connected through a communication pipe 12, and midway in the communication pipe 12, an air pump 13 is installed. An ECU 15 obtains the collection quantity of the particulates of the filter 7 from the intake air quantity by the flow meter 5 and the differential pressure between the front and rear parts of the filter 7 by the front and rear pressure sensors 9 and 10, and obtains the air quantity necessary for combusting the collected particulate, and an air pump 13 is driven by the feedback control using the flow meter 5 so that the necessary air quantity can be obtained.</p> |
