Method for manufacturing golf clubs

The method of the invention consists in designing the contour of a golf club head and of a golf club shaft. Sheet metal is shaped in order to obtain a divided golf club head by drawing a titanium alloy plate inside forming dies and a treatment is carried out in order to eliminate stresses. The shaft and the head of the golf club are welded in a chamber under vacuum which has been filled with an inert gas in order to prevent the inclusion of impurities during manufacture. The temperatures for a treatment for eliminating stresses, of solid dissolution and of ageing are regulated as a function of the various stages in order to obtain optimum quality in a vacuum furnace in which the optimum negative pressure is between 68<10->2 bars and 68<10->7 bars.
