PURPOSE:To provide a light source for measurement and a measuring apparatus capable of measuring movement of an object to be measured with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:In a handpiece (object to be measured) for medical treatment of teeth, one ends of three optical fibers 8-10 are provided through a triangular plate 2a. These optical fibers 8-10 are provided so that the other ends 11-13 thereof are directed toward a light emitting source 14 to guide the light emitted from the emitting source 14 into the optical fibers 8-10. These light sources 5-7 for measurement are taken by first and second CCD cameras, and the light taken at an electric circuit is analyzed, thereby measuring 3-dimensional movement of the handpiece. |
