PURPOSE:To produce a grain-oriented silicon steel sheet having excellent magnetic characteristic by applying bending to the steel sheet during raising the temp. under a specific condition and applying the compressive stress in the rolling direction, at the time of executing decarburizing-primary recrystallizing annealing in a production process of the grain-oriented silicon steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:Hot-rolling, cold-rolling, the decarbutrizing-primary recrystallizing annealing in wet hydrogen atmosphere and the last finish annealing coated with a separation agent for annealing are applied to a silicon-containing steel slab to manufacture the grain-oriented silicon steel sheet. Then, at the time of executing the decarburizing-primary recrystallizing annealing, the silicon steel strip 3 is mutually wound around plural pieces of stress applying rolls 2 arranged in zigzag in the continuous annealing furnace 1 and carried. The steel sheet temp. is raised with the pre- heating source 4 and the heating zone heating source 5, and the bending is applied to the steel sheet in the temp. raising process at least at 450-700 deg.C, and a compressive stress of 20-50kgf/mm<2> in the steel sheet surface is applied in the rolling direction. Successively, the steel sheet is heated to a prescribed temp. for executing the decarburizing-primary recrystallizing annealing with the soaking zone heating source 6. |
