PURPOSE:To provide a heat-sensitive recording body which has particularly excellent recording sensitivity and preservation stability of recording images and produces little fog on the surface. CONSTITUTION:In this heat-sensitive recording body, a recording layer containing a colorless or pale-color basic dye and a colorant is provided on a supporting body. 3-[N-(3-ethoxypropyl)-N-ethylamino]-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran or 3-pyrrolidine-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran as the basic dye and diphenylsulfone as a sensitizer are added in tone recording layer.
