The invention relates to a lipstick rotating case mechanism of the type including a circular cylindrical outer body (2), a sleeve (3) turning inside the body, controlled at its bottom by a base (4) and a slide (5) carrying the lipstick controlling the displacement movement of the stick by means of rotation of the base in the body. In the mechanism of the invention, the elastic braking in rotation of the sleeve in the body is obtained by radial friction of the sleeve (3) which is moulded and has an opening which is slightly larger than the diameter of the opening of the body. <IMAGE>
